Expect stylish spaces galore, including the Sunset and Martini bars, plus a sleek Rooftop Terrace where cruisers can catch outdoor flicks while basking in the ocean views. However, when it comes to suites, passengers have a decent number of choices, and even the smallest and least expensive options offer coveted amenities and access to dedicated spaces. For cruisers wanting the step up their square footage or storage space, a Celebrity Suite will do the trick. Passengers booked in any of the suites in this category have access to the exclusive suites-only lounge and pool deck, known as The Retreat, as well as dining in suite-access-only restaurant Luminae. There are 10 types of suites on Celebrity's ships, four of which – Sky Suites, Celebrity Suites, Royal Suites and Penthouse Suites – appear on every single ship in the fleet. Two more – Edge Villas and Iconic Suites – are found only on Edge-class vessels.

I spent 7 nights in a 200-square-foot room on Celebrity’s newest cruise ship. Take a look inside my cabin
Celebrity Silhouette’s entertainment was very good, but nothing blew us away compared to other entertainment we’ve seen on cruise ships. I think a longer sailing would give us an opportunity to experience higher-quality production with newer technology. Celebrity Cruises delivers an elevated premium holiday experience across our fleet of ships traveling to nearly 300 destinations across more than 70 countries spanning all seven continents. Uniquely offering the intimate feel and thoughtful service of small ships, with the variety and excitement of bigger ones—you can explore the world or get away from it for a little while.

Even a short 4-night sailing, you can find ships offering the ice skating showcases on Freedom and Voyager-class ships. It’s tough to get the full-picture of what a cruise line has to offer for entertainment on a 4-night cruise; however, I’ve taken plenty of short sailings with other cruise lines to know the type of entertainment offered. Both Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises have been upgrading their cruise ships to feature StarLink service onboard. This satellite internet service is an improvement from older technologies that used to be found on cruise ships. Our world-class dining experience brings the flavors and food of our destinations right onto your plate.

Camp at Sea counselors welcome parents with toddlers to visit for playtime during special Toddler Time hours. However, parents of toddlers can't leave them at the program unattended. Toddler Time activities include playtime with toys and mingling with other children. Dubbed Camp at Sea, the program brings free, supervised activities daily for children ages 3-12 in dedicated spaces on board Celebrity vessels.
As we'll explain below, these three vessels are far different than the line's 12 main ships and constitute what is, in effect, a separate business for the brand. Celebrity Cruises is the cool kid among the seven big cruise lines that account for the majority of cruises taken by North Americans. The Third ship in our revolutionary Edge® Series takes our innovative outward-facing design further than ever, creating an even closer connection between you, the sea, and every exciting place on the horizon. Every effort is taken to deliver easy ship access and an unrivaled cruise vacation for our guests.

The two-bed, two-bath setup with a separate sitting area and dining table that seats eight, makes these cabins great for entertaining or sharing with travel companions. At the end of the day, I find myself spending more time exploring ports and the cruise ship than I do relaxing in my cabin. As such, I don’t mind skimping on a cheaper cabin so I can spend more money on things that I value more, like shore excursions and specialty dining. Celebrity ships are loaded with entertainment and activities that range from Broadway-style theater shows and live music to glassmaking classes. Top decks of Celebrity ships have lots of pools, lounge areas and — on some ships — park-like retreats with real grass. Unlike some big-ship lines, Celebrity isn't topping its vessels with waterslides, go-kart tracks, ropes courses and other family-focused attractions.
The airfare means the air ticket fare (including taxes and fees) only. Cruise fare, other add-ons & amenities including, but not limited to, gratuities, hotels, car park charges and transfers are not included and will not be reduced as part of the Reduced Flights to Europe promotion. Applicable cabin grades for this promotion are Economy Class seats, subject to availability.

Back2Back sailing bookings are not eligible for this reduced airfare promotion. Bookings that are created within the stated campaign period but that subsequently move to either a lower price program and/or non-applicable ship & sailing date will not retain the benefits of this promotion. Bookings that are cancelled shall be subject to prevailing cancellation charges. The fifth, final, and largest Solstice-class cruise ship, Celebrity Reflection, will impress even the pickiest of travelers with its onboard activities, amenities, and spaces, including a total of 22 bars, restaurants, and lounges. In addition to The Retreat (reserved exclusively for suite guests) and The Solarium (adults-only), Reflection — along with all Solstice-class ships — boasts the Lawn Club.
You'll pay extra for some premium drinks, extra-charge restaurants, spa services, shore excursions and a few other things — unless you've bought a package for some of these items in advance. Most onboard activities such as theater shows are included in the fare. There are several veranda categories available throughout the Celebrity fleet, all of which offer traditional balcony setups.
On board our Caribbean cruises, you’ll be surrounded by our famous personalized touches that make every Celebrity vacation a special sailing. Embrace bliss with open arms during a Caribbean-inspired spa treatment. Indulge from globally inspired menus across up to 12 specialty restaurants, so you can dine somewhere unique every night. When it’s time to raise a toast to the setting sun, your certified sommelier can pour you the perfect vintage to match the moment—uncorked from a selection that’s won the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence 10 years in a row.
Instead, I appreciate Celebrity’s approach to pampering cruisers and the onboard amenities that cater to relaxation. Food is an important aspect of cruising, and I also found that the food on Celebrity Silhouette was a notch above Royal Caribbean. As someone without kids, Celebrity’s ship design resonates more with my travel style these days. The onboard thrills are certainly impressive, but not necessarily a selling point for me anymore. Comparatively, on Royal Caribbean we would receive $50 off our internet purchase.
We were sailing with only adults and loved the vibe and level of entertainment on the ship. I think if you were sailing with young children and were looking for a very kid-friendly experience you probably would be disappointed. All of the activities we opted to do were included in the cost of our sailing.
It's one of the lines you take if you want an affordable ship that will appeal to your 70-year-old parents as much as your 12-year-old kid. Unlike Royal Caribbean, Carnival, MSC Cruises and Norwegian, Celebrity doesn't load up the top of its ships with sprawling waterparks, go-kart tracks, laser tag courses and other flashy, family-focused diversions. The line's three small Galápagos-based vessels never leave the region, in keeping with rules governing cruise vessels in The Galápagos. During the winter, the line will move most of its ships to the Caribbean, but also send a few to Asia, Australia and South America. Celebrity's three Galápagos-based vessels carry just 16 to 100 passengers each. Celebrity's Solstice Class and Millennium Class ships are even smaller at around 122,000 tons and 91,000 tons, respectively.
First, we noticed that we didn’t need to check-out towels on the pool deck. Every chair had a carefully folded pool towel atop, ready to be used by anyone. There was an entire area of towels that you could simply walk up to and grab as many as you needed. On the ABC Islands and St. Maarten (on the Dutch side), Dutch is the official language, but locals also speak Papamiento, a hybrid of Dutch, Spanish, and various West African languages. Across the Caribbean, you’ll hear Creole spoken, or patois, which varies from island to island. It is the responsibility of each guest to identify and obtain all required travel documents and have them available at the pier when necessary.
